‘Naji’ to vie at Kingston filmfest

The Kingston International Film Festival in the UK, is scheduled to host Iranian short film ‘Naji’.

‘Naji’ by Hossein Torkjosh will represent Iran at the 2022 edition of the British event.

“We are all immigrants; from a dream to another,” a short synopsis of ‘Naji’ says.

Neda Maghsoudi, Mahsa Qoreishi, Bita Alami and Saeedeh Jamshidi star in the film.

The film has so far participated and won awards at various international film festivals.

KIFF aims to support independent production companies and is dedicated to providing a new supportive platform that allows both established and emerging independent filmmakers the opportunity to showcase their work to the industry.

This year’s edition of the festival will be held in various theater halls of Kingston Town in June.
